We are looking for children who love to dance, are interested in learning more about putting on a ballet production, and want to grow in their love for ballet and the performing arts! Casting Auditions to perform as a Supporting Cast Member in Friendswood Contemporary Ballet’s original production of Peter Pan will be held November 19th. Supporting cast dancers will perform alongside FCB Artists in Residence and Professional Guest Artists during 2 staged performances in February.
Important Dates:
- Casting Audition November 19th from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm
- Choreography Rehearsal November 19th from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm (dancers will not be called for the full time)
- Full Cast Rehearsal December 3rd from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm
- Supporting Cast Rehearsal January 7th from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm (dancers will not be called for the full time)
- Full Cast Rehearsal January 21st from 10:30 am until 5:00 pm
- Full Cast Rehearsal January 28th from 10:30 am until 3:00 pm
- Full Cast Rehearsal February 4th from 10:30 am until 3:00 pm
- Performances will be held the weekend of February 11th and 12th, 2023
Casting Auditions will be held November 19th, 2022 from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm
Results will be released by 12:30 pm
In order for a dancer to be considered for a Supporting Cast role with Friendswood Contemporary Ballet, they must be:
- 7-years-old by September 1st, 2022
- Actively enrolled in a ballet class at a studio
- Able to commit to attend all rehearsals
Auditions will feature a technique portion (based on dancer age and years of dance), as well as choreography and acting sections.
