Sign Up to Audition for “The Little Mermaid” by October 31st

We are currently looking for students who love to dance, are interested in learning more about putting on a ballet production, and want to grow in their love for ballet and the performing arts!

Casting Auditions to perform as a Supporting Cast Member in Friendswood Contemporary Ballet’s original production of “The Little Mermaid” will be held on November 2nd, 2024. Supporting cast dancers will perform alongside FCB Artists in Residence and Professional Guest Artists during 2 staged performances in February.

GUEST ARTIST AUDITIONS

Accepting Applications Year Round

Friendswood Contemporary Ballet is actively seeking professional dancers for short-term contracts including guesting with the company for select shows, teaching masterclasses, and joining us for our collective showcase.

Interested dancers are asked to attend our professional dancer audition in the summer or submit a resume, video reel, and headshot for consideration. We ask all interested dancers to complete the form to the right.

 ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE AUDITIONS

Season Twelve 2025 – 2026 Season Auditions will be held in May 2025

If you are interested in joining us for next season, please fill out the form to the right.  The Company is looking for dancers with 5 or more years of classical ballet training who are 13 years of age or older.

Audition Timeline
4:00-4:30 pm – Audition check-in and open studio to warm-up
4:30-8:00 pm – Audition

• Center work and Across-the-floor combinations
• Learn a variation
• Show the variation in groups or as individuals
• Complete Contemporary classwork

Results will be released via email 2-3 days post-audition.
